Jaedyn James has been making men uncomfortable since 1990. She is a vivacious, outspoken, body positive, powerhouse singer-songwriter, artist, producer and bandleader.  Her live performances are empowering, engaging and invite you into the deepest parts of her soul. James’ sound is influenced by Etta,  Janis, Prince and Amy Winehouse.

“A tender hearted hand grenade with a secret desire to pull her own pin.”

Jaedyn has played many world-renowned stages and festivals and has shared bills with international acts such as Brandi Carlisle, Sisqo, People Brothers Band, and the Shins.

Star Tribune featured Jaedyn shortly after Roe V. Wade was overturned, highlighting her iconic Witch Party. Jaedyn is a formidable intersectional feminist and civil rights advocate. She is a domestic abuse survivor and a proud, abundant-bodied queer - a champion for all womxn, non-binary, and queer folks everywhere.

Whether you’re just discovering Jaedyn or you’re an honorary “Jaed-Babe” (her affectionately-named fanbase), you will find yourself exploring your own soul and dance moves to her music. Captivating, engaging, and profound - you will be swept away by her soaring vocals, songwriting, and stage presence. An unforgettable display of raw power, emotion and talent.

“Sultry and powerful.”

LOVING YOU SO HARD

Listen to James’ debut album, Loving You So Hard Now! Highly anticipated, following her 2018 EP Outright. Loving You So Hard showcases her abilities as both singer and songwriter with her larger than life personality. She uses a masterful blend of Midwest Soul and R&B to tell her unique story. The album was created by a killer team with Co-Producer Ilan Blanck of Sprig of That and Head Engineer Holly Hanson of Zoo Animal.
